Sometimes even I am disturbed by the things I create.
The Shadow collects forms to mimic, sometimes when its shifting forms it gets confused and has to sort of cycle through them which is what’s happening in the fourth panel; it’s got a bit of its stag form, bird form, and human form showing up there.
I’m also throwing a fantasy logic hand wave at how Brand is able to get his sword out of a back holster; they are not practical for quickly drawing your sword like video games and such would have you believe, but I’ll just say Brand has long arms.
