The concept of demi-sexuality, and really the ace spectrum in general, are completely foreign concepts to someone (something?) like Avery. He’s trying his best but he can’t quite wrap his head around it.
But mostly he’s starting to gain some understanding of the fact that his actions have a direct result on Gabe and his emotional state. Which, truly, is some major growth for my spoiled Incubus prince.
